A Few From Today! 3/4
Spent some time by myself today trying to figure them out. Pulled the same waters as my last trip and did OK but sometimes OK just doesn't seem to cut it. So, that being said, I went on a hunt.
Well, it took me a little bit to figure them out but finally found some biting fish in shallower water. I switched back and forth from 1/32nds to 1/16ths trying to see what they wanted. Still, the fish was scattered but today I caught fish anywhere from 9.5' deep water to 25' of water.
I didnt carry along the camera but did snap a few of the fish when I got home. Here's one of the bigger fish laying on a rock bench that is 16" wide...

Another of a couple of the largest...biggest going 2 lbs 6 oz...

Nice fish, Butch! Glad you found some big hens...they always get the pick of the spawning grounds and the next two weeks ought to produce some nice black crappie. Hope you find #3 tomorrow.

Good job Butch. Man, a couple of those boys about hanging over the sides of the bench. Next 30 days should be great.
