Fishing report 2-29-16

Started the morning at flint about 630. Water was about perfect for color maybe a little stained and just a little high. current was very swift. Fished the normal spots and caught 1 bream 2 stripe 1 short and 2 keepers in 2 hrs. Decided to load up about 830 and go get the rod holders and long poles. Went to Decatur and pushed jigs behind the harbor. Wasn't really tearing it up anywhere but did manage 13 with most being over 11". I fished 14 rods with a variety pack of colors. Wasn't any one color that caught more than the others. Water temp was anywhere between 52-54 as the day went on. Over all a decent day. Attachment 230569

Those are some great looking fish. The temps are getting close. Hope they don't pop and go like last year.
