Nice weekend on the lake, but the bite was tough. Creeks with water flowing in like Rink's Dam were very very muddy. Nothing on the striper bite and trolled jigs and crankbaits for probably 6 hours over the two days. Caught 6 total for the two days. Key color was orange with yellow tail curly tails. Caught them at about 18 to 20 foot in 30 to 40 foot of water. Almost all on the orange/yellow. I think one on a red/white.

JayW where are you at in TN. I just bought TN fishing licenses yesterday to start fishing some of the lakes closer to Boone.
Near Chattanooga. I fish Chickamauga mostly and Watts Barr a couple of times. I don't have any information on the lakes that are close to you.
I am going to try Watts Barr for stripers some this year. Heard it was a great trophy striper lake.
There's definitely NO stripers in Watts Bar.... :)....lol....
