I guess I'm really an Old Gezzer and here's the proof.

I have my own "Old Gezzer" mascot, a good luck charm. It was hand delivered to me at the gathering all the way from Texas by a dear friend. That gesture meant a lot to me and I want to thank Ferdi and Miss Connie so very much. I will cherish it always although I don't see the resemblance of me in that critter that you said you saw : ). Maybe if I grow a little mustache. I just wished that y'all could have stayed around and broke bread with us and have a chance to catch up on old times. Maybe next year. We're looking forward to it as we have already reserved our cabin.

You know the more we come to these gatherings the closer we feel to all of you. Y'all have become like brothers and sisters to us. I just wish we lived closer together where it would be easier to visit a few times during the year. But I know as the years pass it will become harder and harder to drive around and hang with you great people so we'll take what we can get now and enjoy it to the fullest and let the Good Lord worry about the rest.

I think at the moment they were pulling the number for the trolling motor that I wanted to win for my son. Too bad for me but glad for Shadow who won.
