Mono vs fluorocarbon.....
as most of you know, I cast for crappie with my spinning reels a lot most of the year. Yes, I single pole too, but find myself casting mostly. I can cover ALOT of water and catch lots of fish doing this.
Anyway, my question for y'all is...
I have used mono all my life, but am tempted to buy the Berkley "easy casting" fluorocarbon for my spinning reels.
Bay Springs is my home lake, which at times is ultra clear. I also fish Sardis, Grenada, Beaver Lake, Peppertown, Smithville, Amory and Aberdeen on occasion, whice are NOT clear. Well, Beaver Lake is pretty clear at times.
Have any of you used the fluorocarbon for casting? How does it perform?
Thanks
