Does a Humminbird 899 have the same power cable as a helix 9? If so could I/Should I leave my power cable that is in my boat already and just plug it directly into my new Helix 9? And also do they have the same amp fuse system? I know nothing of wiring stuff. So the less stuff I have to change probably the better.

It should be the same power cable as the 899 with 3 amp. fuse.

If the one you have is working just use it. They are the same plug. Fuse should be the same.
I used the power cord that came with my 899 that was already installed! Worked beautifully! Love my new unit!!!!! Leaving the 899 power cord and just hooking up to it saved me alot of time and headache.
