For my money ... Taylorsville Lake (between E-town & Lexington) - Barren River Lake (SE of Bowling Green) - Green River Lake (NE of Bowling Green & a little outside of the E-town/BG/Lex triangle)
FWIW ... I've never fished Barren River Lake, but have seen good reports from the members that do ... and it's within the triangle you described.

Appreciate that. I'll google map them. I'm looking forward to fishing that area, thanks.
Pappy you've written that you've dabbled in hybrids before. I can't believe you haven't fished Barren for them. It's a major step up from Tville in that regards. I haven't crappie fished it much though. If you ever go to Barren for hybrids let me know.I can fill you in on how I catch a few down there.
OP I hope I didn't hijack your thread. The guys down at Cumberland would say it's a good crappie lake too.
I used to "play" with the T-ville hybrids, when the Crappie weren't cooperative ... but, that was quite a few years ago. Now that T-ville's Crappie are bigger, overall, I've just stopped fooling with the hybrids. But, if I ever decide to head down that way & fish for them, I'll give you a hollar ... :ThumbsUp
