Any reports on Saline/Larto. Thinking about going up there this weekend.
I haven't seen a report on Saline/Larto in quite some time that I can remember.
I haven't heard anything either, We were up there last weekend just cleaning up after the flood. My daughter's boyfriend did catch a nice mess of catfish all in the 2 to 3 pound range with worms off the dock. The water was still a little muddy but I bet it has cleared up since last weekend and with it falling I would think you should catch some. Let us know how you did.
I heard they were catching on shiners around the Buzzard's roost. And you can see my thread from today. I believe it's gonna get right soon.
It was slow for us. The cold weather messed it up. The temp would get into the 60's after lunch. Everyone we saw was fishing with shiners in shallow water later in the day. Should start to get good soon.
A buddy of mine fished this weekend (fri, sat & sun). He fished with shiners deep in the straight away from the honey hole to shad lake. He caught 41 fri, 30 sat & 24 sun.
