Talquin lake Monday 2-22-16

Got home Sunday night from church and looked at the weather said it was supposed to rain all over Georgia so went to Talquin . Put in at William landing fog-fog and more fog, so started trolling to Polk creek first fish was a pound are so, caught 7or 8 little fish through backs rounded the corner at Polk creek a 1lbs 12oz one trolled in channel catch one or two so trolled in front of houses, stand there all day in Polk creek stopped at 2;30 taking up lines and this 2pound hit so he is not on fish counter ended with 24 water temp 62 and stand 62 clouded all day good day going for one day the first fish you see not dark but close,

That fish is red on it's belly. Are starting to bed.

Is that clear blue/char body what you were using or is that a teaser. :biggrin

I had 3or4 look like a big gar took a bite out of them. the jig I made Saturday caught 2or3 on it ( glass blue ) blue was the best color for me

Will be coming there about march 19 what do you think they will be doing I know this depends on the weather I like long lining

The weather thing my wife buy at Wal-Mart on sell, it is good to have, time , pressure , (cloud sun and rain ) the picture after the weather, look at it and it was cloudy and you can see it said cloud. it is two pieces
