How many use rattlin baits for Crappie ? I know we used them for years on Bass . I just got in a batch of glass rattles and think it might not hurt to use inside tube jigs with water so durn muddy right now .

How many use rattlin baits for Crappie ? I know we used them for years on Bass . I just got in a batch of glass rattles and think it might not hurt to use inside tube jigs with water so durn muddy right now .
I tried the high dollar Rock Port Rattlers and they seemed to work good. They just hurt my feelings (wallet) when ever I would lose one in a brush pile. I also tried out the small glass rattles and the thing I didn't like about them was that they decrease the gap width of the hook on smaller jigs. I'm not sure if they really affected any hook ups or not though.
I use only big jigs and plan putting on bottom side of jig not in gap area of hook .Quote:

I've got a bunch of the Rockport Rattler Outlaw Specials. They help some I guess, but they aren't the Magic Wand.
What kind of jig/bait is the Magic Wand. I assume by your post that they work really good. Please PM where I can obtain these Wand baits. I'm also searching for shells loaded with the golden BB for duck hunting if anyone has any info on that as well.Quote:
