I tried the high dollar Rock Port Rattlers and they seemed to work good. They just hurt my feelings (wallet) when ever I would lose one in a brush pile. I also tried out the small glass rattles and the thing I didn't like about them was that they decrease the gap width of the hook on smaller jigs. I'm not sure if they really affected any hook ups or not though.
I heard it all, going to shake rattle and roll for crappie, next thing you be hooking up a doorbell NIMROD here, ding dong.:scratchhead
I've got a bunch of the Rockport Rattler Outlaw Specials. They help some I guess, but they aren't the Magic Wand.
The "Magic Wand" changes as we age. I remember having it, but can't seem to find it every since I past the age of 45. I guess they don't make it anymore. I was hoping technology would prevail and someone would come up with a new "Magic Wand" so I've tried all the new fishing gadgets trying to find it. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
I do use the old "Magic Wand" I have left on rare occasion, but with fear of loosening it, I just leave it hanging in the box!!! I'm like you tho. It seems all the gold is missing from the BB's in the box!!! [emoji4]
