What are your thoughts on these lakes with all the flooding they had last year? My thought was that it might be a really good year on all three. It should have gave the crappie a really good grow year.

Hopefully we see some nicer fish! In my opinion the average size at least at missy has been getting smaller over the past couple years. I really don't think the flooding lessened the fishing pressure that much. We couldn't get our boats in that mutch but there's always lots of bank fisherman. Those reservoirs get hammerd!
Those three do get fished hard. I believe the fish to be cyclical there. Meaning some years we get a good spawn, some years not so much. The fry from the good spawning years grow to decent fish in about 4 or 5 years. Sally and missy were loaded with 5-6" fish last year so it will probably have lots of 8" fish this year. Next year they will be bigger if they make it.
Couldn't hardly buy a bite yesterday at missy....
Yea colt it kinda surprised me that the bite was non-existent. I'm not pro though so though it was just me.
The fall bite wasn't great for me, but I suspect the young of the year fish probably had a great survival rate. Know the woods had a high amount of dead carp and shad in them after the water came down.
THE wife and I caught some fall keepers, nothing great. Did notice thousands of fingerling bass tho. we caught them on bare hooks. They were every where.
