Smithville this afternoon

Put in at W ramp and went up. Started out rig'n minners in the river channel,marked lots of fish,shad balls but couldn't get anything to bite! Tried casting jigs and slow role ,no good.
With the water down we did Mark a good trail up to Arnold, so that made the outing worth it.
Water temp 36.5 , air temp 59 with sunshine ,water stained , lite south wind , very nice to be out .

I fished camp branch this morning but no keepers. Shorts were shallow at 4'. Hope it gets better with warm weather.
