How's the water at LARTO? I imagine folks are beginning to do some deck and dock cleaning. Hope the crappie are happy and ready for all of us who are ready for them . Thanks for info if anyone has any:)

I went last saturday, the 6th and the water was really high. I usually launch at youngblood's but when we topped the levee, the water was about 40 yards on the other side of it.. I have a couple of pics, one from on top of the levee and another from in the bayou facing youngblood's.. as soon as I get enough battery charged on my phone, I will post them on your thread.
It looked like it was on the fall when we went, not sure how much it dropped in a week. Here's the pic's I have.

There are a couple of articles on Saline and Larto that were posted in the last few days. I do remember them saying they picked up a few around the Buzzards Roost and the Honey Hole between the Buzzards Roost and Shad Lake. My daughters boyfriend caught a bunch of catfish off the dock with worms all in the 2 to 3 pound range. They sure were good eating that Saturday night. I am going to try and be there Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
