I caught 13 Sacaulait, 1 bass, a couple of gars, and a whole bunch of small goggle eyes. I lost a huge chouxpique at the boat. Water temp was 58 degrees and looked like yoohoo. I talked to a couple of other fisherman that didn't even get a bite. All mine were caught against gum trees. I was fishing a black jig 10 inches deep. I only caught on trees on the edge of a 10 foot drop off. I met jlaughlin74 today. Nice guy. We shot the bull at the launch for a while.

Thanks. I get plenty practice during the hunting seasons while I am sleeping....lol. Plus right now they are staging on that side of the bayou and when they start showing up on the opposite bank it will be on. I have been catching fish on that stretch of bayou since I was born.Quote:

Yea, I did them a couple of years. Been thinking about starting them up again. I would do them in June or July when the crappie action would slow down. Matter of fact, that was the first time that I met Johnny was at the first salt water gathering.Quote:
