Looking to buy some for jig tying, does anyone make these?
Your okay as long as it's not a Pony head your looking for as that would not be legal to buy as Blakemore owns the Trademark for the design of the Roadrunner head and are the only ones that can sell it legal and yes I bought all my Roadrunner heads from them and have their permission to tie and sell them. However the only hook that comes in a Roadrunner head is a True Turn hook. There are other kinds of under-spins which I assume that is what your looking for?
I do not know who makes them, but will look around.

Roadrunners have the barb and thick lead around the shaft which I'm not too fond of for tying. Also, I prefer the sickle style hooks.
Most Roadrunner heads do not have a barb, matter of fact all mine except one of the 1/16 have no barb and are made for tying chenille and tail, mostly marabou, but other things can be used. The only one I have with a barb is a 1/16 Marabou 2 head that also has the eye sockets for glue in eyes. So your not looking at the same heads I am. I probable would have got these heads if I knew they were like this. I see when Blakemore tied them for selling they just do it thread neck style which I guess is what I will do on some of these, but some I just cut the extra collar off and tie it like a regular head like my other Roadrunner heads.

IF you can find someone who makes their own you could trade other materials for them - but you'd want the horsehead style (no collar) not the pony (collar and barb).
Fatman I think he may just want like a ball head that is also an under spin.

I know some folks have moded their molds but not sure if they sell them. I know a lot are tying the swivel on the shank of the hook then tying the jig.
