Caught a bunch of nice size crappie on this brush pile yesterday. Can you tell me what the cloudy haze is above it on the right side? My guess is shad?

I agree. I think there air bubbles, probably from a boat. They are probably close to the surface, but are displayed on the screen like they go all the way to the bottom. That's because, the farther away they get that's how the unit will show them.(that a really good looking shot)Quote:

It's from my new helix 9 with hdsi transducer. It really is an improvement over my 998.
