I have searched far and wide and I cant find it.I need the torque specs for the water pump housing and lower unit bolts for a 2000 Tohatsu M40D2 outboard engine.I have the owners manual and if its in there I am overlooking it.Any help is appreciated

Don't worry with torque specs on either. The w.p. requires very little pressure past bottom out to function flawlessly. You can be a little more aggressive with the lower unit bolts. Neither of these components are in danger of warpage.
As an example of my meaning here. I would say 15 inch/lbs for the water pump and perhaps 20 ft/lbs on the lower unit attachment bolts. But again, warpage is not a concern. Just don't finger tighten them nor strip the threads.
