2500 6.7 Cumming again
So. I went back to a ram and was just impressed with the towing capacity of the 15. I went with 3.42 gears and it turns around 1500 rpm at 70 mph. I loved the Toyota BUT the mpg towing and the small fuel tank was not cutting it. I could not head across state towing my boat without stopping for gas. I towed 3000 lbs yesterday with the 2500 and averaged 16 mpg.

A pulling machine for sure, still driving my old powerstroke and will till the wheels fall of, 15 pulling and 17 or 18 on the road.

Sounds great, great mpg!!!!
-
That sounds sweet. I'd love to get those numbers. But that's a lot of miles to make up for those payments I don't have.
-
Dang. Reset yesterday when I filled up. And I'm gettn 24/25. Mpg round town.
-
BAMA S, the MPG gods are smiling on you. I only get 15 or 16 in my 6 cylinder Xterra! :yikes
-
Settled in at 22 mpg after driving all day yesterday. I'm still impressed.
