Been lurking around here on Crappie.com a while and decided to join. I'm 44, spent the last ten years coaching "Summer" basketball- which lasts about 10 months/year. My daughter is about to graduate and go play in College, so my wife and I should have lots more time, and money, to spend on fishing & traveling for ourselves- traveling that doesn't involve a basketball tournament.
Prior to basketball, I spent all my spring time turkey hunting. But now, fishing is much more my speed I think.
For now, just learning what I can; don't even own a boat at the moment. I'll convince my wife "she" needs one in the fall when I can find a Craigslist special. Got a two year old grandson (first) to help me convince Grandma that Papaw needs a boat, so won't be too hard.
