Thank you TNPondManger and AlphaHawk
I have fished with Walt and can tell you he is one of the most knowledgable people I have ever met on bluegill fishing. While I have never personally fished with Alphahawk, I have read his posts on this forum and Facebook for the last few years and it is clear he is one of the best bluegill fisherman I have ever encountered. Anybody can look like an expert when fishing beds in the spring but these two can catch big bluegill year round. It completely baffles me why people bash and attempt to discredit people that have such a wealth of knowledge on a sport that we love. If we all tried to learn from them instead, we would all be much better anglers and could impact our sport in a positive manner. Both have previously mentioned how topics like limits or selective harvest break down to personal attacks and I now see what they were talking about. I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to both of you for being a voice of reason and setting a positive example in the bluegill fishing community. I hope you don't let the actions of a few disrespectful people dissuade you from continuing to share your knowledge. There are many of us who appreciate your posts and ideas.
