Took my Dad sat morning. It was cold early so we ate breakfast and got started late. Went to Little River and joined the fifty other boats long line trolling. We fished about four hrs and caught a lot of fish. Kept 27 nice crappie in 11 to 13 inch range. Fish were in creek channel in 10 to 15 fow. We were pulling 1/16 heads with southern pro grubs and Bobby Garlands. Color did not seem real important. Caught a lot of shorts. Fish seem very fat and healthy. Females are full of eggs.
good post, so looks like they are already long lining over there on Weiss. How fast were you pulling if I may ask?? Any color work better than the others??

.8 to 1mph. Usual Weiss colors. Black and chartreuse blue and chartreuse. Monkey milk in bg
Nice report. Tried trolling Saturday on Guntersville when I didn't catch many on my brush tops. Only managed a couple of white bass while trolling. South wind was rough on places I normally fish.
Does the "bent pole pattern" work over there. I am not poking fun, but seriously wonder if you can tell anything from this.
