Armadillo trapping
Does anybody have an idea of what to put in a live trap to trap it? What kind of bait to use. It has decided the yard needed rototilled. Not here every night so watching for it is not feasible. Peanut butter and syrup works good for raccoons and possum. Might work for armadillos. I used the insect killer on yard to keep grubs and worms out to try and keep moles out. Plus it to rid of the ants too. Not stopping critter from rooting holes to try and find something..

Just google armadillo traps and take your pick. Looked like to me bait is not used at all. Try this link.
How to Trap an Armadillo Trapping Tips and Bait Advice
Good Luck and wash up good after handling them as they can carry leprosy disease from what I read.

I killed 16 of them year before last out of my yard. They will flat tear your yard up digging for grubs and worms. They come out right at dusk and a .17HMR will flat tear them up. If you kill or trap them wear gloves when handling them they are known carriers of leprosy.
I started using grub killer on the lawn at about twice the recommended dose and that kept them at bay last year for the most part. I only killed 2 all year.

Shot one with 50 cal black powder. Took 30 seconds for all the parts to land.
Looking at our food plots you would think you could use turnips.
