The OKC Tackle Show is this weekend at the OK State Fairgrounds. Starts tonight and runs through Sunday. I'll have plenty of Huckabee rods in the booth which will be shared by Redneck Rubber (Beaver Bottom baits). Don't know booth number yet but come by. Both Todd Huckabee and Barry Morrow will be giving seminars this weekend. Also, have something NEW to reveal.
Sure would like to see the show make a comeback. . . . Like it was in the 80s and the early 90s.. . . I couldn't wait for it to get here. . . Nothing but wall to wall tackle unlike most of the shows now. I can't remember going once when I was younger and passing a booth selling purses or Chinese toys. Guess I should go down and give it a look and hope it brings up thoughts of yesteryear.Quote:

I tried to go Friday and they wouldn't let people in til 2:00, lost a lot of people with that move. Bet I saw 20 people leave.

I've been setting the hook on a lot of fish lately with my Huckabee Dippin Sticks! Some lucky person picked one of them up that flew out of my boat before I could get back to it. Maybe they'll like it and order more. That's not how I envisioned spreading the word about them though! Hope you had great success at the show!
