hb 998 si

I shot docks a lot, have a hb 998 must not have it set very well. I don't get a good view under docks and boat houses. Does anyone get good results doing this and can you give some close setting. I have about give up using the 998 for shooting docks, have though about putting the transducer on the trolling motor, but if it is not set any better I am no better off. Any help appreciated.

I SEE FISH UNDER DOC OFTEN BUT NEED ABOUT 10 FEET OR MORE AND GET CLOSE SO U CAN SEE IT IN WATER COLUMN TO SEE IT BEST UNLESS IT IS MANY FISH UNDER IT

Be sure the "Imaging Frequency" under the Sonar tab is set to 455kHz ...

It covers all the way to the water's surface ...
