I finally have a few days off, and I am planning on fishing Darbonne from tomorrow through friday. I'm not asking for anyones hot spots, but I am new to the lake, and any general pointers, information would be appreciated.
Thanks

You won't get much help. Big tourney coming up. I will say the one time I went, they recommended fishing the drop offs in 18 fow or so. Check the search box or look back on this thread for some older post's. Use shiners and jigs. Mix it up. Good luck. I want to fish there again. Also, pm kingcrappie.(Josh Gowan on FB) He guides there and if it is possible for you to fish with him, you will catch and learn. And he is a nice young man to be around.
Thanks for the info
Lowbidr, go on Facebook and search for Lake D'Arbonne Crappie Report, info posted everyday. Also search for Neal Pace. Also Seekers of Men. That is Mr. Sam Robertson who fishes almost everyday. Mr. Sam has been catching on the edge of the channel, 17-20 foot of water using Bobby Garland Glitter Critter, Sweet Tea, and Monkey Milk. Good luck.
Thank you guys, headed to facebook
Lowbidr, I wish I could help. As a matter of fact, if I knew where to send you I would send you GPS coordinates because I ain't fishing the tourney and on top of that, God put those fish in there for everyone to enjoy. However, with all of that said, the last two times I went to D'Arbonne I had no luck at all. I do wish you the very best though. I know how it is when you drive for a couple of hours and then drive back home for a couple of hours empty handed. Now, I will say that I DO NOT have to catch fish every time I go in order to have fun, but let's be honest here; when we go fishing we WANT to catch fish or we would simply stay home. The best of luck to you. I wish I could help!
I know it's kinda late but like they said; best is along the edge of the channel in 15-25 fow; I like a bluegrass on a pink head
