2016 MICDC spring crappie camp

The 2016 spring camp will be held on Hardy Reservoir, and Sandy Beach Campground will once again be the host. The dates are June 10-12. There are many sites, but as last time, the festivities will be centered on the south end of the campground. A couple of us already have our reservations in, so don't delay...early birds get the best sites/cabins.

Read the regulations carefully so you don't have any surprises. You also need to purchase a vehicle pass either daily, or annual. You can get those when you arrive. If you are coming for more than just the weekend, the annual might be the better deal.

Remember that Sandy Beach does not allow you to beach your boats on shore, so if you don't want to pull your boat each day, you need a dock. If I recall correctly, you cannot reserve docks until after the 1st of May.

What sites does everyone have so far?

When I reserved 175 was booked already, maybe by Fishingcouple. I took 176 again.

We will once again be in the Aspen Cabin. Not sure on the crew at this point in time. More than likely Abby and my Mom and Dad.

I tried to get the other cabin next to Rich (wife won't stay in a tent) and all the tent sites were taken along the back SO......Rednecks in site 173 is reserved! Wife may come up for a day visit.

When I reserved my site a week ago, it showed all those sites along the south end reserved too. I bet that has something to do with all the renovations going on
