Great day with the crappie.com gang

Eileen and I had a fun day with the C.C gang. Everyone caught some nice fish and had a good time. The weather man gave us a great day to be on the water. I enjoyed meeting some of the members I never met before. The bite wasn't the best but we managed to find some good ones. All big fish were returned to bite again. A few pics from today.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have to say how much I enjoyed today also. Stress has been tough for the past couple of months and that has turned a corner in a positive direction. I looked forward to fishing the legendary Crescent I've heard and read about for years. I couldn't have asked for a better day, better weather or better company than I had today. It was a long time coming but the wait was worth it. Everyone said the bite was off but that no impact on my enjoyment. My friend Ernie uses the word a lot that says it for me; OUTSTANDING! I won't ramble but suffice to say that I enjoyed meeting everyone that I had never gotten the chance to, last but not least the unofficial Mayor of Crappie.Com------ Billbob himself. Russ, Vic, Eileen, and so many others I can't remember the names. That's normal for me. New friends and fishing partners all around. Thanks for a wonderful day. I'll stop rambling now.

Maybe?? Just maybe, one of these days I will get to meet some of you folks! Thanks all, for sharing your thoughts and great photos.

Crescent got game. And so does Billbob. That one on the right came off my hook as I was swinging it in the boat, he caught it in the net. I was thinking since we both caught one, our limit was done. But Billbob talked me into fishing a little longer and we caught that nice one on the left.

Good fish. Pays to stay for one more cast sometimes.

It was a great day at Cresent today. I was looking forward to fishing this lake because I have heard so much. So my daughter joined me to conquer this lake. I enjoyed meeting some new people that I never knew. Thanks Russ,Tim,Norma and Vic for letting hang out with you guys Friday with all the rain. And thanks Slab for all the prizes you gave out. I really can't wait to next year for Cresent. Hope to see everyone at next event.

Had a great day on the water got to say hello to some familiar faces and was able to put a real person to some of the names and pictures.hope to do it again soon :fish
