Just purchased a Helix 10 SI from Brian at bbgmarine. Great service, arrived on time and works great except the main control key. The direction key works for up and down. Right works but requires a good press and the left arrow which sits at 9 oclock does not work unitl you press between the 10 and 11 oclock position. Has anyone had this issue? Tried a reset and it didnt do anything. Hate to put snyone through any trouble but $1500 is a lot to spend on something and have to deal with this.
Sounds like a misalignment between the rubber key and the circuit board or the nubbins on the back of the button didn't mold right. I've seen it on older units as the buttons will get some wear over time, but should not be the case on a brand new unit. Give Brian a call, he will make it right. Great guy!
Thanks Tundah thats kinda what i was thinking. Its clearly a physical problem with the button not a programable issue.
