Guys I'm trying to get a general idea of when the season for trolling jigs for crappie is...I'm sure people do it all year long but I have a product I'm thinking about coming out with, looking for a time frame. I'm guessing spring is a good bet?

Pre-spawn period, when the fish are scattered &/or on the move, would be the earliest initial period for long line trolling ... IMHO. But, yeah ... even that would depend on the region you're fishing in, the dynamics of the lake, weather trends, and water conditions.

Anytime the water is above 55/60.
