Brush tapping.

Painted up 25 1/16 and some 1/8 Walleye heads using the method. I found that the cheap bushy brushes work better than the thin flat ones.

FM I can see how those really would make it easier!

I struggled at first with the tapping because the thin stiff brushes were allowing the paint to fall off the brush rather than sift through the brush.
I found a soft tip in the pack that worked well.

First thing I always do to the brushs is push them down on a hard surface and fan all the bristles out and then do it a few more times. It loosens them up and doesn't let big clumps build up. That was a tip I was given when I first started!!!!!! and it's worked out well.

Thanks for the input, I just need a different kind of brush. That's easily remedied.

barefoot....do you bake those jigs when you are done or coat them with a sealant so they won't chip?

I just cure them in the oven. 20 minutes @ 325 for all the colors.
