These nice specks were caught today by my brother and his wife..10 fow..hugging the bottom..said he kept 46..they don't have the color Attachment 224699we're used to..but good eating just the same.

The muck - debrie - silt has not filtered into bottom of pit as much as regular lakes,
most pits will have a sandy/marle type floor for several hundred years
