and btw ...been using some baits my friends over at Lake Fork make ....
I really like the pearl ice color ...
so if you are over that way you might want to stop in and
tell em I sent ya ....they are good folks ...Todd and Belinda box
and they probably will give you some ideas on where to fish while you are at Fork as well
keep in mind the first 25 have to go in the ice chest or livewell
we are under the no releasing restrictions on crappie at this time on Fork nonono
Good looking fish, glad you got to go catch some!!
Good report and enjoy Fork a couple of times a year for the crappie. Them are some nice crappies.
How deep are you cetchn now? I would think deeper by this time.
Skip
Skip ,over here on the western front they seem to like the bottom in about 16 foot of water at most spots .
but i know they are deeper east of dfw and possibly in a few areas around here as well
yesterdays fish were in the deepest water available at that spot ....around 16 ft
deeper lakes probably have fish in deeper water but alot of the spots i hit the water dont get that deep
and they like the thermocline lure first drop as well ...
a lil fry in pearl ice on a 1/16 gold plate number 6
6 inches off the bottom er so ....
Nice job
