Drove down I-20 to North Myrtle a while ago for New Years. The Saluda, Congaree, Wateree, and Pee Dee rivers are as high as I have ever seen them, of course I'm only 66. The Wateree and Pee Dee are all the way up into the trees and dark red muddy. As much water in the swamps around them as I have ever seen. We need some sunshine, but according to the weatherman, there's more rain on the way.
The rivers are in bad shape with water out of the banks in the upstate to so yall have a lot more water heading your way. Sounds like some bad storms heading our way the first of the week. Hate to see more right now.
Drove to Tennessee Sat and back. The rivers you cross in the mountains are full and red. Lot of water to come down both sides of the divide. And more to come.
Yep...everything out of its banks here too. Will be glad to see a couple week dry spell myself.
