Minnows ?

What is your choice or your favorite minnow chub or shiners ?

I just use fat head minnows from the bait shop and tail hook them. When I night fish I will net emerald shiners, crappie love them.

I like fat head minnows, mainly because I had a pond full of them and could get them anytime I wanted. Crappie love them but they are slippery little devils.

We've noticed that chubs stay on the hook longer and seldom get thrown off by a flopping fish. We can catch multiple fish with one chub.

i go out to my tank and get some rosy reds

If I am using them any good shiner is my favorite.
