12/19 Hickory Report
Put in about 7 and boy it was cold. Got a little better until the wind picked up. Stripers were had to find. Ended up with 3 with the biggest about 26 inches. Trolling with Pete's umbrella rigs. Nothing on live bait. Shad and fish holding deeper than they have been in the past month. Shad right on the bottom in most places so I could not get to them. Left downriggers at home since I have not needed them. Just my luck. Still beats a day at work.

Thanks for the report. It was cold and windy on Norman also. The wind blew so hard at times I could only keep 3 lines in he water. Shad and fish deep also. Downriggers are my go to in the wind. Sunday was cold also but very light wind.
Never leave home without your downrigger...........

I have just set them up, but will have them next time. lol.

I have my electric cannon on removable rod holder mounts. Two items I really like are the cannon ball retrievers and the Chamberlain release. I double stack mine.

Three fish is not a bad day. Thanks for the report.
