Headlamps for Dark and Fog

Go out and come in quite often when it is still dark. Got a headlamp from Eddie Bauer, but it's kind of dinky and wondering if any of you had a recommendation for a bright one that fits well on your head. Often real foggy when heading down the creek at Conway.

I'll hunt up the info on mine. Cheap, and the brightest I've ever used. Use it running the river and boat runs in the timber. Plenty bright.

RCC, that thing you have will challenge any search light on a towboat!!! (and double as a spinning disco ball!))

this one is going to light up the dark. one I have from EB gives a whopping 250 lumens :biggrin

Not a headlamp but did see a LED light bar on front of a boat . Thinking of fixing one on the front of my boat making it removeable and plug into my trolling motor socket on front .

I saw a boat before daylight on lake Erling one morning that had a light bar on it. It was so bright coming toward me I had to quit motoring till it passed. Couldn't even see past it. I'm sure he's a duck hunter.

I have a spotlight on my boat that sits in the nav recepticle. It's remote controlled and also has the nav lights underneath. It's made by Gobee. Used it a number of times and found it to be a great investment of $90. Put the remote on a lanyard to keep it handy.

I use a cree rechargeable headlamp. Works great and is bright enough to make flowers bloom at night :biggrin

one I ordered is a Cree 6000 xm-l 3x t6 led. can't wait. also, been thinking bout putting a set of led's on the front like nimrod mentioned.
