We just got back from Crescent Lake Florida. The wind killed us Monday and Tuesday but we did manage 17 on Tuesday PM and 44 on Wednesday. Nothing for size but good eating fish. Many dinks so there is a new crop coming. The fish we caught we were running the Crab lines where the 14' water breaks down to 10'. The lake is also a foot high due to the North WINDS.
Next trip will be in Georgia as I am getting too old for these 6 hour trips.
Thx for the report, Danbo. You did better than we did a couple of weeks ago. Maybe things are starting to pick up!!
No tourney fish Tim. Largest one was about 11. Most were hand size to 9 inch. Lots of small dinks and that was a good surprise. We went down to Dead Lake for a while and fished Bull Creek and I bet we could have caught a Brazillion dinks in an hour. The Bull Creek Cafe is also a very good place to eat....Breakfast $3.99 includes coffee.

We had supper one night at The Bull Creek Café, actually its where we had the seminar at. I ordered some Oysters and a bowl of Shrimp and Grits with melted cheese on top....AWESOME...I'll be going back there again.:ThumbsUp
Danbo, do you have plans for Astor trips this 2016?
Brother & I set for FM in May, June, July.
As of today we plan to go down the week of April 11th. May plans are in the works but have not set date yet. We are maybe going to Clark Hill in May rather than Astor. Will know by FOY.Quote:
