12 7 15 smithville 2 limits

Buddy called me to go fishing at 2pm so i figured why not. Boat was at home and i just got off work so we did some bank fishing by the marina.

Nothing special 1/16 double jigs. Blk/chart grubs. Pitch it to the edge of the dock and i did a very quick 25 to 30 count. Most of the times when you take that slack off the line it was heavy with a fish. The other half of the time slow retreive resulted in a tap. If you miss the tap slow down and bam tap again


Got there at 330 and i had my limit around 5. Buddy got his limit around 530. Lots of shorts but also caught a lot of fish. Probably a 5:1 ratio.

Nothing crazy size wise to write home about. Big fish was under 12" with most around 9.5 to 10" for the keepers.

Nothing to complain about for sure. Catching is hard to beat. Thanks for the update.

Dang it would sure be nice to get off work early enough to fish its dark when I get done. Congrats on the limits.
