some of you mite not have ever seen a turnip this big before. my uncle grows them in his garden. i picked this

havent opened it yet but it feels a sounds(thumps like a water mellon) still good. uncle said he cut one last week and it was same as the lil ones.

My turnips this year weren't any good. I planted them it rained nicely then got really dry and the turnips grew slowly and were woody. I hope yours are better.
cut it open last night and it was good. chomped 2 entire slices. this mornings trumpet blast was impressive enough to wake the old lady! :biggrin and we live by a train crossing!
