Love gloomy rainy fishing day!

Decided not to hit the creeks today and just stick close to home at my little local lake... Fishing was terrible the first few hours.. only had about a half hour before I had to leave and all hellz broke loose.. Jigs, 2-5ft deep in 8-15 FOW.... Was gonna keep these but lucky for them I'm a lazy azz. Snapped this pick and let them swim..... Food for thought. Lake was flat calm and very slow. Wind picked up created some chop and they got very aggressive....

Nice fish. I'm with you on the gloomy day fishing. I think those are the best. Overcast skies, etc. Though I don't like being rain on much once it gets into November :)
