Gettin There! Just not soon enough.
Picked up the new boat Thursday from Bill at Big River Marine. Humminbird electronics from Brian at BBG Marine. Rod holders from Scott at HiTek. Electronic covers and brackets from Rickie at Podunk Ideas. These folks support us so I am supporting them.
Rickie (rnvinc), the electronics genius who happens to be my 1st cousin, volunteered his garage and services to help (he did the vast majority) rig it out and get it ready for me to get on KY Lake with it.
Heading home from West Memphis, Arkansas.

Getting started.http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...pstj5jvn2i.jpg
Good thing Rickie is a little guy. We might have had to use a chainsaw to get my big butt out of that hole. Rickie built a custom battery tray for 3 Trojan 1275 golf cart batteries and a MinnKota 345 charger to fit under that center console.

The windshield and hand bar had to go. The boat barely fits in my garage and it won't fit under a 7 foot door with them installed. I think I like the console better without them. This was after we got the Terrova, rod holders, batteries(5) and chargers(2), and the 1199 installed. The Helix10 will be here Friday for the bow with the transducer and super-duper GPS puck mounted on one of Rickie's Da Ducer Apparatus brackets.

To say Vicki and I are excited about the new rig would be a gross understatement. I may even fight the snow and rain over the next couple of days to get it on the lake and get some break-in hours on the Suzuki 140.
