Not fishing but.......but kind a related

So the wife was wanting some furniture for the family and guests coming in. She has been pricing out solid wood items. But the way I see it, every $$ she spends on stuff I can make is less $$ for my motorcycle and fishing addiction.

So I made her a deal.....if I can make it and she likes it......I get to put half of what ever she was going to spend into my addiction fund.

So I made her a Prairie queen size bed and a Prairie serving table. Made the bed out of just basic construction grade material and the table out of an old throw away wood pallet.

Furniture looks good - much better than this fake wood stapled together crap at the $$$ furniture stores!

Them pallets can be made from exotic or just plain oak that will last forever. If you got the equipment, why not use it and have something that will last a long time.
