2015 Wolfpack nothing to do with fishing
Few of y'all have met my #1 partner Will. Well I have to share this story. This year he started 6year old football and I dropped everything to be able to coach them.
These little turds started off questionable to say the least. After a bunch of time and LOADS of patients they finally "clicked". Now understand that "clicking" in 6 year old football is basically having everyone focusing and giving 100% effort. We set out at the beginning of the season with these goals. I wanted them to learn basic fundamentals to carry with them in years to come, I wanted them to understand sportsmanship, i wanted them to understand that football is a team sport and that it takes every single player doing their assignment every time the ball is snapped, I wanted them to all be teammates and encourage each other, and most of all I wanted them to sign back up to play next year
The season started off slow with their first 2 games being loses. Then...The 3rd game they came alive. They started talking to each other on the field, high five'n, back bumping, etc. they then won the next 5 in a row. Then in the second round of the playoffs they lost the game that would have put them in the Super Bowl by 1 point, to a team that we had beat earlier in the regular season by 1 point!
It will go down as one of my greatest memories ever. I watched a group of boys become more than just another player on the team. They all became friends and they played great together.
Unfortunately, the Wolfpack peaked a couple games to early.
Every player on this team was the most valuable player, and most improved player. I learned more from these kids than they learned from me.
I encourage everyone to get involved with kids as much as possible. It is one of the most rewarding things you can do. They ain't even got to be your kids. By the end of the season you'll love them all like they're your own.
Just wanted to share this with y'all and show a few pics

Sometimes the best victory is teaching the young ones how to handle defeat (Sportsmanship). No one wins em all.
Great job on your part. We never get to old to learn, and kids teach you about things that are truely "From The Heart". Congrats on a fantastic season.
