Rod Holder and Planer Board

They look good. Would like to see the planners in the water at work. Never thought about making a tree rod holder, bet it works great for you. Thanks for posting the pics.

That looks .like a good set up there. One of these days I got to get my planner boards back out and do some of that kind of fishing.

Looks good John,thanks for sharing the pictures.Have you ever pulled em from the front of the boat??Im seeing a lot of the salmon trollers using the tree rod holder set up on boats the size of ours .If you go to buy some of that salmon/ Great Lakes fishing stuff it sure very is high priced! Those three rod holder trees are over two hundred each !! That's why I had to make mine.

Yes, we also fish one tree from the front of the boat. I dropped one these rod holder in the lake at the Dutchman's boat ramp about a month ago. Please pray for fishing buddy, Larry, he had a heart attack yesterday.
