Lake Hartwell

I will be coming back to GA around 18 Dec and will be staying at the Wifes Grandmothers place on the lake. My question is this, I have no boat and will be bank and dock fishing, where is the best place to go around the Gumlog creek portion of the lake. This will be my first time trying to fish this lake in the Winter months. Thanks!

sooners08 i am sorry no one came back to you . i never fished that lake but i would suggest go to a bait shop am sure some one there will tell you something .

Run a search for Hartwell on this site, you will find a lot of info. I have fished Hartwell for stripes, never crappie.
