Beautiful day in the ole cement pond.

Had a great day in the pool. By chance I fished with an old college buddy, Casey. We caught over 100 crappie and recounted some stories that we had not thought about in many years. We ended the day with 7 keepers and a lot of laughs. I got to see Cmj putting some real thumpers in the box. Just my luck, I drop my buddy off at the ramp and go back to fishing and I stick a giant crappie and my net man was no longer in the boat and I fumbled around and she flopped off. The one that got away...

I hope everyone is chasing Bambi tomorrow so that my son and I will have the lake to ourselves.

Bait of choice was an RC800 trimmed CP style with a chartruece Dan jighead. It didn't seem matter if it was tipped with a nibble or a minner. Both caught about the same number of fish.
