There's a couple places around Wylie at the parks and you may can still fish around some of the boat ramps but stay away from the ramps themselves as that's illegal.
If you find anything let me know cause I'm bank locked for now too.
I have not fished in a few years and am now ready to get back into it. But just found out motor on the boat is DOA. Talk to people if you know anyone on the lake. Some times they will open their pier up to you and a buddy.

Jig color seems to be more important in the spring than any other time of the year. Experiment with different color jigs until your determine which color produces the most bites.
By watching the weather and following a few simple rules concerning the migration routes used by the fish, you can increase your chances of having a successful day on the water.
Check out around Copper Head area. I had a friend who walked the banks and caught quite a few crappies and brim. Hope this helps!:highfive
