Had a couple of these around for a long time and had them painted, but just never tied one until yesterday. Anyway I just keep looking at is and trying to decide if I want more of these and what size as this is a 1/16. I do have a 1/32 as well and will tie that one too just to see how it looks. Anyway here is one I tied and please tell me what you think?
Also I can not get this flash to show up like I wanted it to!

I love that jig head skip.
I haven't fished with that style head, but I do like the looks of it!
I've had the mold for forever and have a steady following of users in the northern portion of our state. and I like them when I want more "apparent" bulk to the head without increasing the actual weight for fishing vertically and under a float.

It looks great..I think it would do well long lining
The hook placement in this jig's head makes them a real pain to long line because the hook wants to ride way up high. If I were long lining I'd be looking at a head with a forward eye. Do-It sells a "wacky" hook in size 6 and size two that could be adapted to this mold in a snap making it a serious long lining jig. Check out the hooks. I think Mustad has a wacky hook identical to those that Do-It offers but in a size 1 or a size 1/0. Anyway there is a slightly larger hook if you need it. I've converted two round head molds to take these 35 degree hooks and make jigs in 1/32 and 1/16 just for casting and retrieving without a float and for drifting/trolling and in either case my hooking percentages have gone way up when using them.Quote:
