Most folks haven't realized their watercraft registration is expired yet. They discontinued those notices few years ago as well.
They stopped the trailer notices as well. Honestly, I don't see a problem with it. I don't believe it's the governments job to remind me to renew my registration. Last I heard, we all wanted less government, this is less government.
Yeah tax the peoples that works wages. Tax inheritance from the people they taxed already. Tax people when they buy something. Sure i forgot plenty of other taxes. But not enough money to send a notice about a boat registration renewal evert three years.

I have to disagree. Sure, less government is good, but if the government is going to require me to do something then I think they need to remind me when it's due, especially if they are going to hold me legally responsible.Quote:

When you go and renew by phone they will charge you a 4 dollar convenience fee. Now I don't mind paying a higher fee for my plates or stickers because everything goes up but when they want to charge you for them to do less work . Really now what else can they charge you for ?
