Lake Tarpon Visit
Pescador (Marvin) made his first trip
to Tarpon today and was introduced to
Spider riggin for first time.
Water temp was 78.4 at 7am, but 11am
was 80 plus...Blue bird skies and sunshine were topic of day - Bite started off slow -
real slow didn't start to pick up till around
11:30am when we found them "Deep" in 14 -15 ft water almost on bottom. Yellow was
hot color at beginning - changing to white/red mylar Skipper's and homemade jigs. Dark Blue mylar's also came in hot 2nd. We kept 20 in the 11 - 14" range,
throwing back 33 - wind changed directions 4 times in 3 hrs - se - s -w
ne & e.
Marv, I believe is starting to like the
idea of Spider riggin.

Harold,
Can't thank you enough for such an enjoyable fun day on the water! Fishing with you and out of your beautiful boat, made the drive home through work traffic, worth every minute.
I certainly will give spider rigging a try, appreciate all the info.
Regards,
pescador aka/ Marv
